The Mike Check Show's Anniversary Specials

The Mike Check Show's Anniversary Specials (aka: "Insert Number" Years of Whackin'!) marks the annual celebration, since April 3, 2011, when Mike Check's "whiz-kid" daughter set up THE MIKE CHECK SHOW (on a radio station known as "KMCR: THE MACKER!") to keep her aging radio DJ father busy during his prison sentence/house arrest at their home somewhere in Folsom, California. (Note: Actually, it's more of a website/blog where a Music Video from YouTube is posted daily...but Mike's too senile to work that out apparently?). It has been celebrated every month of April since 2013 (Also note: No celebration took place for The 1st Anniversary in 2012.)

2 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2013)

After forgetting to celebrate his inaugural Anniversary in 2012, Mike Check decides to celebrate "The Mike Check Show's" 2nd year by playing a list of the songs that he had already dedicated to RD Reynolds and Blade Braxton on Wrestlecrap Radio (aka WWCR: "THE WHACKER!") that hadn't yet been played on his own 'progrem'. Mike Check's "whiz-kid" daughter also uncovers a list of songs, resurrected from Mike's old 2009 tumblr site that were thought to be destroyed in a fire, which are also played in no particular order.

Unfortunately, this Anniversary also marked the moment of disaster when Mike Check lost his mikecheckshow.com domain name, from yet another fire, which then reverted to mikecheckshow.blogspot.com (it was then moved again later in the year to it's current home at mikecheckshow.wordpress.com.)

3 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2014)

Mike Check was unable to be apart of his show's 3rd Anniversary, as it conflicted with a BBC Radio Award ceremony in London, U.K, in which he was invited to present an award (note: he was temporarily released from his "house arrest" to be able to attend). So Mike's Daughter runs the program herself, for the first time, along with a daily rotation of Wrestlecrap Radio character guest co-hosts who also make their own song requests (*Spoiler Alert*: And it was almost a disaster from the start as "The Ratings Reaper" attempted to cancel the whole progrem on the 1st day.)

4 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (aka "The Angry Jim Show") (April 2015)

Angry Jim was in San Jose to perform his One Man Show with Mick Foley but then had seemed to have gone missing? Jim was last seen heading to Los Angeles to meet, who he claimed to be a large breasted blonde woman, who wanted to end his "losing streak" (if you catch my drift? ;) ). Well, it was believed due what he wrote in his final Tweet that he may have been kidnapped by Ninjas. But it turned out that it was Mike Check's daughter (aka; the "big-boobed woman") that had apparently tricked Oklahoma's own "Angry Jim" (via ninja kidnapping?) into guest co-hosting The Mike Check Show's "4 years of Whackin" Anniversary month (...well she did leave some obvious clues, I guess?).

On the progrem, Angry Jim and Mike Check mostly play songs requested by Jim, which consisted of tunes relating to; Anger, Barbequing, "Johnny Age", Dark Journey and ZZ Top, etc. (*spoiler alert*: At one point, The Mike Check Show was almost thrown off the air after Jim played a song containing explicit language and Mike Check spends the reminder of the month playing songs which he hoped would turn Jim "happy", but *obvious spoiler alert* unfortunately, to no avail.)

HALLOWEEN HOOTENANNY 2016 (featuring guest host "Zombie Nathaniel")

This was not an anniversary special but was a very special edition of The Mike Check Show's annual "Halloween Hootenanny" special held in October 2016.

It was discovered by wrestlecrapradio.com that Mike Check's Daughter had been embezzling funds from Premier Blah for quite some time. So as punishment, a mystery package was sent to Mike Check HQ containing a special mystery guest host. (*Spoiler Alert?*) It is later revealed that the box contained a "Zombie" version of Nathaniel Edward Rodham Davis, a previous fellow TNA Correspondent for Wrestlecrap Radio, who was once killed by Megatrolla, and then later becoming Premier Blah's "undead" monster to unleash upon whoever disobeys/wrongs him. At first, Mike likes "Zombie Nathaniel" and treats him like his own pet, but the Zombie N.E.R.D. makes Mike and his Daughter's life a living hell as he keeps threatening to eat their brains and also annoys them with his "markdom" over Impact Wrestling (I don't know which form of torture is worse?). Mike's Daughter also attempts to come up with multiple plans to "DELETE!" Nathaniel from their show...with mostly unsuccessful results.

6(66) YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2017)

Wrestlecrapradio.com, fed up with Mike Check's "odd behavior" and the fact that his daughter had been embezzling money from them, decide to take control of The Mike Check Show permanently unless Mike and his daughter pay back everything they owed. Mike is contacted by a mysterious listener, "Sam O'Hellyeah", who claims that he can help solve of Mike's problems. But unfortunately for Mike, it turns out that "Sam" was actually "STAN: THE EVIL TROLL LORD" (formerly "Satan"), who tricked Mike into possessing THE MIKE CHECK SHOW for himself. STAN (Mike's guest host for "6 (66) Years Of Whackin'!") then challenges Mike to a song battle and places the total control of the progrem, along with Mike and Mike daughter's soul, as a wager.

The Mike Check Show Conquers The Martians: 7 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2018)

The leader of Mars, Kimar, arrives on Earth on the 1st day of Mike's "7 YEARS OF WHACKIN'!". But even though he reveals that he comes "in peace", he abducts Mike and brings him back to Mars to be their deejay and to play the hits "that play well in their Market" (similar to the plot of the 1964 film "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians") as the concept of "music is very new to the Martians...but will Mike Check only celebrate his 7th Anniversary on Mars or be kept prisoner there for the rest of his life?!

The NEW Mike Check Show: 8 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2019)

Mike Check transforms "The Mike Check Show" into "The NEW Mike Check Show", with a G-Rated/"kiddie friendly" format, where Mike and his Daughter attempt to teach children about numbers and words, along with special guests and songs. This was due an embarrassing sex tape, that starred Mike's Daughter (apparently?) having relations with Peter North as "The President". "The President of The United States" is unhappy about the tape and orders "The Mike Check Show" to make some "changes" and become more P.C., or else it would be cancelled by the end of April.

9 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2020)

During 2020's edition of "Love On The Ropes Month", Mike Check plays some love songs in dedication to NWA Wrestling's Thunder Rosa. This leads to Mike Check receiving mysterious throat noises from an anonymous prank caller throughout the month of March. *Spoiler Alert* The mysterious caller turns out to be "The Question Mark" (also of NWA Wrestling) who has a grudge to settle with ole Mike, not only because he thought that Mike wanted to steal his crush (i.e Thunder Rosa) but also because Mike had dishonored Sensei Question's Father ("WHO") by, allegedly, having an affair with his Mother ("WHY") during the time when Mike was working in the Mongrovian market and also training in the art of Mongrovian Karate...sorry...KAR-A-TAAY. To settle the score, "The Question Mark" challenges Mike Check to a KAR-A-TAAY fight, but will Mike be able to dust off his old combat skills in order to answer his challenge?
