The story of "Farmer Iggy" begins in the 1950s, when he was a mixed-up twentysomething immersed in the Church of the Subgenius. By the early '60s, he turned on, tuned in, and dropped out, which led him to start his own clench, a polygamous sect centered on innkeeping.

The next forty years were a hellish nightmare. At his lowest point, cultless and alone, he started this site, in the Spring of 2008. He disappeared seven months later, but resurfaced in the Summer of 2011.

He was (is) not dead the way you know it. He is with us always.
